Step 1: Trends analysis
- Understand our customer’s challenges & objectives,
- Analyze the new design trends & industrial impacts,
- Identify new emerging industrial process choices,
- Determine the new assembly needs,
These four steps are the basis of our innovative process. To develop useful fastening innovation, we ensure to understand the specialties and the needs of our customers. This requirement implies a close relationship with our customers’ engineering department and a partnership with referent technical centers. This combined approach allows us to define the future standard expectations of the market.
Step 2: design to cost
On the basis of the « design to cost » method which associates functional analysis and value analysis we aim at developing ingenious concept offering functional characteristics adapted to these new needs. To go beyond the concept status, we immediately make our creations face the industrial realities. Our goal is to reach quickly the status of serial product, thus able to be industrialized and marketed at attractive price.
Step 3: final qualification
Before launching the product on the market, we select no more than 2 or 3 customers able to carry out the innovation. Customers who are part of this last development step and who contribute to the final qualification of these solutions will benefit of privileged economical conditions, a legitimate counterpart to their support.
